Since 1962, Turtle Top has been producing vehicles in time-proven techniques of designing, engineering and manufacturing. Today's Terra Transit bus represents a legacy of excellence of quality, proven by thousands of users throughout the country.
The interior shelf cage is constructed from a continuous welded steel cage with 1 x 1 x 16 ga. steel tubing and 2x8x13 ga. channel steel crossmembers and lx41/2xl3 ga. channel steel floor stringers. Perimeter sill 2x2 angle x 11 ga. completes the solid, sturdy cage which provides exceptional strength.
Seating anchorage complies with FMVSS 210. Models range from 21' to 28' and offer spacious 6'4" interior height. Front door, side door and special wheelchair configurations mean you can match your needs with a standard Terra Transit vehicle design.
Terra Transit buses have been proven tough throughout the country in major universities, motel chains, local, state and federal government bodies, hospitals, churches, departments of transportation and many other organizations.
When you select the wheelbase and floor plan configuration to match your specific application, all you have to decide is which seating style to include and the appropriate heating and air conditioning system for your locale.
